I am an accredited member of the Canadian Decorators Association (CDECA) and have an Interior Decorating and Design Certificate with honours. I serve as a Director on the Board of the BC Chapter of CDECA. I am a sponsor of the 2009 PNE Prize Home. Additionally, I have a Certificate in Marketing and am a senior student of Classical Feng Shui.

As an Interior Decorator, I truly enjoy helping my clients love their space, where they live, work and play. Years of part-time Residential Interior Consultation has evolved to owning a design studio and has expanded to include commercial projects. Prior to earning my Interior Decorator Diploma, I worked in many design related fields, from my first full time job decorating windows in Eaton's Visual Presentation Department to decorating sets in the Commercial Film Industry for four years. Industry experience with display, furniture, accessories, tableware, colour, antiques and textiles, I appreciate that offering a custom design service combines all of these interests. Personal renovation experience, business savvy and creative talents further enhance my design consultations. I understand the process to help you get the end result you want.

Evolution of Sue.

Choosing colour for my childhood bedroom, to rearranging my parents living room, naturally progressed to wallpapering, painting and sewing curtains for a first condo. Moving several times while growing up was opportunity to decorate. I have renovated three of my own homes in the past ten years.

A love of textiles has been passed down from my tailoress Scottish Grandmother and an appreciation of embroidered details from my English Grandmother's hand stitching.

Many trips to visit family in the UK, as well as travel through Western Europe and Northern Africa, have been as influential to my decorating style as living on the West coast. I appreciate natural beauty and a city life style.
